AI will take over the world, but here is how we can benefit from it in our teaching before it gets there.

 Hi everyone, It's me, your favorite ELT student again. I am here to present you a brand new project incorporating AI into English teaching and I am incredibly enthusiastic about the whole thing. 

To start off, our instructor gave us what to do on this project. We were going to create a worksheet including AI feedback on the student's writing et cetera.  The whole concept is very intriguing to me because I think AI will completely change how we perceive the world, similar to the industrial revolution of the past. While we are not yet in the 'completely changed' phase, it would be better to say that we are in the beginning phase of artificial intelligence. Anyway, back to the topic. This project was hard for me to do because while the task itself was easy (which is basically creating a simple worksheet guiding the students) the project was in the middle of the final exams. So i found it hard to focus on it. We chose the superhero theme and asked the students to describe superheros they know, and create their own heroes and ask the AI feedback about it. We also created an ASSURE lesson plan to go with it. I hope you enjoy it.
